The Pick-U-Up.App is an experiment. An experiment to get better service as a ride share passenger and for respect to the ride share driver.

The system of ride sharing started out with gimmicks and good intentions but spiraled into the mess we have now. Racist drivers passing over passengers they don’t want to pick up, canceling service and leaving the driver stranded, asking for a second fee to let customers into their vehicles, and the list goes on. This too has made the job of being a driver very hard. Passenger cancelations, huge fees given to the companies that let drivers use their software, base pay falling 50% in less than a year, and drivers having to pay the brunt of this as expenses keep rising and no compensation offered.

Let’s try something different.

How about a ride share service that is up to 30% less per ride, and also helps the driver have a reliable income source.

Pick-U-Up.App does this and is specially made for the scheduled passenger in mind and for the longer commute than the stop and go services.

ACTUAL CUSTOMER COMMENT: “Sir, why am I being charged $80 for you to drive me to work?” (NOTE: Driver was paid $7 for this 12-mile ride).

This is truly unfair. At Pick-U-Up, we offer rides that are scheduled at least 3-4 days in advance. This helps many medical professionals and passengers needing to go to their medical appointments to arrive on time, since they have to set up this appointment within 4 days with their doctor. We want to be the preferred service for longer drives to important services: medical, work sites, airport, travel, and chauffeuring.
